Installation Information:
For metal-to-metal applications, install fasteners with a 0–1000 RPM screw gun equipped with depth sensing nose piece.
For metal-to-wood applications, install fasteners with a 0–2500 RPM screw gun equipped with depth sensing nose piece.
Impact guns and hammer drills are not recommended.
Self-drilling metal thickness should be between 0.018″–0.030″ (0.46 mm–0.72 mm).
Recommended drill bit sizes vary depending on metal thickness and application.
Hole size determines installation performance and pull-out strength.
Minimum depth penetration into wood substructure should be 1″ (25.4 mm).
